Indian Angel on Horse

This piece is 12 inches high.
Doc Holliday paints were used in this project.
Base coat flesh areas Dark Flesh. Antique with Red Brown. Brush Rust chalk on cheeks and lips for color.
Base coat base with Real Brown. With a damp sponge dipped in Black, wipe around the base to create a look of a wood grain base.
Base coat the rest of the piece Black.
Dry Brush dress and band around head Blue Suede. Add cream to you brush and highlight. Paint Silver on bead work that is around neck line and sleeve.
Paint bead work around neck with Teal and Silver.
Paint Earrings Silver. Dry brush hair lightly with Dark Gray.
Dry brush entire Horse with Real Brown, followed by Leather Brown. Dry brush Cream on various places of horse. Paint hoofs and mane Black. Dry brush Dark Gray lightly on mane.
Dry brush rocks Light Gray. Make 2 washes - 1 Blue Suede and 1 Real Brown and lightly go over some of the rocks. Dry brush White over the rocks for highlight.
Angel wings - paint Premier Gold. Brush a wash of Blue Suede, then dry brush with White. Paint Vibrant Glitter on wings and allow to dry thoroughly.
Spray with Matt Sealer.
Workhorse This piece is 10 inches tall.

Cowboy Boot
This boot is 5 inches high.
Doc Holliday paints were used on this project.
Base coat entire piece Black.
Dry brush entire boot Real Brown.
Dry brush side of boot Leather Brown.
Dry brush front of boot Toast.
Spray with Duncan Matt Sealer.
Driftwood Mustangs
This piece is 12 inches high.
Horse Lamp Shade and Rock Base
The inside of both the lamp shade and base come glazed.
Horse Head Bust
This detailed piece is 7 inches high.
Base coat entire piece Black. Dry brush horse Real Brown (don't worry about getting paint on the mane). Dry brush horse again with Leather Brown, with color still in your brush, add a little bit of Toast and dry brush highlights. Dry brush strip on face with Cream. Paint eye with Cream, iris Real Brown with Black pupil and White dot for glint in eye. Touch up mane with Black, with color still in your brush and a touch of White and dry brush highlights on mane. For base dry brush Dark Gray and Leather Brown as shown in picture. Spray with Matt Sealer.

Indian Angel

This angel stands 10 inches tall.

All flesh areas are painted Dark Flesh. Dress is painted Flaxon Yellow. Red Brown Translucent is applied to both flesh areas and dress. Wipe off excess translucent stain. Lightly dry brush highlights of Cream on dress. Dry brush Cream to fringe. Apply a wash of Leather Brown to top of fringe. Paint Silver to belt, top of dress, rope around neck and top of earing. Paint Turquoise to earring, necklace and part of belt and top of dress. Base coat wings Gold, dry brush with White. Paint hair Black, with paint still in your brush, add a little bit of White and apply to hair as highlights. Lips are painted Mauve with a touch of rust colored chalk. Eyes are White with Real Brown iris and Black pupil with a White dot for glint. Eye brows are Black. Apply rust colored chalk to cheeks. Apply Gold Glitterette to wings and spray with matt sealer.
